A Gal Came To My House

I came to Tokyo without any dreams and it's been 10 years.
I started working part-time at a family restaurant to make a living, but before I knew it, I was the manager.
After work, I stopped at a convenience store to buy dinner and was about to go home when a gal in a uniform called out to me in front of the store.
"Hey, mister can I stay over tonight?"
I didn't want to get involved in any trouble, so I politely declined, and she said,
"You're kidding, Manager Shindo. Have you forgotten about me?"
The gal who knew my name was a girl who quit her part-time job a year ago.
A year ago, she was a quiet high school student with black hair and glasses, now she transformed into a blonde gal.
"It’s impossible, isn’t it? I’m sorry… It none of manager's business if I stay with another mister and sleep with him, right?"
Her comment, made with an understanding of my personality, irked me, but I couldn't ignore it, so I decided to let her stay overnight, just for one night.
And so began the strange life of a family restaurant manager and a gal high school student.
