Hero Manufacturing Machine - Intermission - Eucharlouch's Morning Routine

I was flipping through the newspaper as usual. But... Not again. I thought to myself as I looked at some of the headlines. The headlines read something like this.

"Lord Eucharlouch Successfully Defeats the Dragon", "Lord Eucharlouch Saves the Village from Goblins", "Lord Eucharlouch Conquers the Untrodden Dungeon", etc. Even though I, the real one, was in Braidea, Eucharlouch's tales of heroism were being updated once again.

What's more, they were happening in multiple places where it would be extremely difficult to travel due to the distance. I have met imposters myself, and there is no doubt that there are multiple people pretending to be Eucharlouch. Generally, I, the real one, don't call myself Eucharlouch outside of Braidea, so if someone calls themselves Eucharlouch, they are already an imposter. Well, Braidea's official policy is that "anyone who calls themselves Eucharlouch outside of public places will not be recognized as the real thing." Among the articles full of such nonsense, I found one about my Braidea territory, or rather, something very close to home.

The article was about the sale of Wing Blades at an auction. The starting price was roughly double what I bought it for. I'm not saying that's a bad thing. That's how business works, and it's not an item that's in high demand. Considering the costs of shipping it wouldn't be exorbitant. That in itself is fine.

What I don't like is the line, "The same as the masterpiece favored by Lord Eucharlouch." I couldn't help but be put off by their attitude, which seemed to be intent on cashing in on my popularity. On top of that, the lack of explanation bothered me. The Wing Blade can show its true value when used by someone with a certain level of skill, but when used by an amateur it is nothing more than a light, dull sword. No explanation of this was given at all.

This Wing Blade is a complete inferior version of the Gale Blade, which I obtained after much difficulty in the Dungeon. The Gale Blade is sharp all by itself and requires no skill. If a buyer with little skill saw me fighting and bought the Wing Blade expecting it to perform like the Gale Blade, there would probably be a fuss.

absentmindedly thought about such things.

Chapter length 1039 characters.

Note: A small little chapter that seemed to be able to be placed anywhere. I decided to place it here as there wasn't any little intermissions between volume 0 and 1. You will get two chapters today due to this being really small.
